i have read your problem regarding OpenGL 2.0 renderer not supported error and i would like to tell that check whether you are experiencing this problem with Angry birds game only or you are getting same problem with other games in your computer as well? there can be different reasons behind this problem such as graphic card driver is out of date, Hardware acceleration is set to maximum level. This problem can also occurs if your graphic drivers does not support OpenGL 2.0. First thing you have to check is video Hardware acceleration. if video Hardware acceleration is set to high then you should set it to low and then you have to check whether same problem is occurring or not.

After installing Angry birds game in my computer i was also getting same problem. now after that i have uninstalled angry birds from my computer and then i have rebooted my computer. now after doing that i have installed angry birds game in my computer again. After installing Angry birds in my computer agin whenh i tried to play it at that time i get same problem. now After that i have tried to search solution for this on internet and after spending some time on internet i have come to know that by installing graphic drivers i have installed graphic drivers in compatibility mode. now after installing graphic drivers in compatibility mode when i tried to start Angry birds game at that time i didn't get any problem. i think you should also try this solution. If you don't know about how to install drivers in compatibility mode then i will help you with this. first of all you have to open device manager in your computer and after doing that you have to look for graphic adapter and then you have to rollback drivers from there and then you have to restart your computer., after restarting your computer you have to go to the folder where you have saved graphic drivers installation file. from there you have to right click on driver installation file and then you have to select properties. after doing that you have to select compatibility. Now you have to change compatibility mode from there and then click on OK. after changing the compatibility mode you have to check whether you are experiencing same error while playing game or not?

In many cases this problem occurs even after installing graphic drivers in compatibility mode and if you want to solve this problem then you have to choose software rendering instead of GPU rendering option from accelerated graphic setting and then your problem will get solved. To select ware rendering instead of GPU rendering option from accelerated graphic setting you have to follow below steps.

in your computer you have to go to search box and then you have type internet option and the press enter key. After that internet option window will appear and then you will see tabs such as General, security, privacy etc. you have to click on advanced tab from there. now you have to look for accelerated graphics section and under accelerated graphics you have to select Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering option. after doing that you have to press OK button and then turn off your PC and start it again. now after that you have to check whether same problem is occurring or not? if you get same error even after trying this trick also then let me know.

After referring above solution i have first tried to solve this problem by setting installing graphci drivers in my computer in compatibility mode but after installing drivers in compatibility mode also i was facing same problem. now after that i checked Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering option from internet options but that does not make difference. is there any other way to solve this issue then let me know.

According to me you should try to solve this problem by modifying .inf file for Intel drivers. i was also getting OpenGL 2.0 error in my computer and then i have tried this solution and my problem get solved. perform below steps to modify .inf file.

    • open control panel.
    • now after that you have to select more setting option which will open desktop control panel.
    • now after that you have to choose appearance and personalization.
    • select Adjust screen resolution option.
    • now after that you have to look for Advanced settings option and click on it.
    • from graphic adapter you have to select properties.
    • choose driver tab.
    • click on update driver.
    • select Browse my computer for driver software option.
    • select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer option
    • Click on browse option and go to folder where drivers installation file is saved.
    • from driver directory you have to select igdlh64.inf file,
    • click on OK.
    • Finish installation process.

After doing this steps you have to reboot your computer and then you have to check whether your problem get solved or not?

If this problem does not get solved even after trying above solution also then you have to Go to windows update in your computer and then select check for update button. Now after that you will see "optional updates for an Open GL update" option and you have to check that. if it shows update is available then you have to select update option and install it. i am not sure whether it will solve this problem or not but you can try this solution. i hope your problem will get solved as soon as possible.

if windows update does not show any new updates for Open GL then you should visit Open GL and then you have to update drivers from there. i hope after updating Open GL drivers in your computer your problem will get solved. if you need any more help then let me know.
