How to get Alchemist Powder in Zynga Castleville

The intention the developers have is to probably limit how fast people advance in the game. Seriously, if you could do every quest in a day how long do you think you would play for? Donít really see the issue in not acquiring AP in a one day time frame. So is there another way to get Alchemist Powder in Zynga Castleville, thanks in advanceÖ

I used to have an overflow of Alchemist Powder now I have nothing and cannot make gold bricks. Zynga wants us to buy everything now for cash - that's the only possible answer. I help about 20 neighbours a day and you would think I have plenty but no longer. All I get from neighbours is a heart and some coins. The whole point of this game is to have as much friends on your list as possible. Drop rate has lowered, so you need to increase your friends list. No other way around it.

I'm having the same problem with the alchemist powder - I used to get a lot of them when visiting neighbors, but for the last few days I get 2 or 3 and then they stop. It's frustrating. I have 32 neighbors.

I tend to get 5 to 6 AP's a day with my few neighbors (almost every neighbor seems to drop one lately), and while it's a big bottleneck, I suppose it depends on your patience level. You're your own worst enemy in these games. You can go to the add-me thread and add a few dozen or a few hundred neighbors and never worry about AP's again, and you'll only have to deal with the raw crafting times. The ability to do that makes balancing the pace of the game a difficult job for the devs. They should have capped the neighbor limit to 10 or 15 with the ability to increase the limit ('fast track') with crowns. Then they could have balanced issues like these much easier. With so many recipes requiring so many AP's though, I just wish they were a 100% visit reward or that there was some other way of acquiring them aside from crowns. I'd rather spend crowns on novelty items personally. A 'blue peacock feather' rarity reward for tending, a way to craft them or the ability to request or gift them would be an immense help for the many players who choose the slower path to the end. I'm not having too much trouble with AP's, but if the OP's experience is being felt by very many then hopefully something will happen to the rate or requirements down the line.

I believe you can get roughly 8 alchemist powder every 5-6 hours, same with energy. After about 10 visits, you start only getting 25 coins and alchemist powder at a low rate of roughly 5-10% so you should just wait 5-6 hours once the 25 coins start appearing. However, it seems like the frequency of the Alchemists powder has been drastically lowered. I had plenty and have been able to construct all the gold bricks I needed and anything else. I visit 10-20 neighbors a day. Then suddenly I had zero powder and I'm getting less than 8 a day... I can't make more than 1 gold brick a day, because other stuff for quests requires them too. I've stopped harvesting my mines because I'm at 99 stones. A few days ago I had no stone and was mining neighbors just to make bricks.

Well they're harder to come by if you have only a few neighbors. But if you are diligent about visiting your neighbors you'll accrue a good amount. Just make sure to save them for things like the gold bars & things like that & don't craft things you can buy in the market. You can try farming your FB feed for the powders as they are often awarded as a bonus on people's posts. I usually see 2-4 per day on mine (maybe more but I'm never looking for them). But to answer your question specifically, no I have not noticed a decrease in getting this item & don't have any trouble having enough. I have a lot of neighbors though.

I am trying to make all the gold bricks needed for all the buildings and such, but I am not getting any alchemist powder...I visit neighbors and maybe 1 out of every 7 or 8 is giving me the darn stuff, at this rate I will never be able to stock pile them for future buildings because I canít get my right now buildings done...any help would be so much appreciated on how to maybe make it happen easier or something.

Yeah I only visit maybe 25 neighbors at a time, i do it in the AM and the PM have done that for over a month and never has changed the amount i get. About 10 each time = 20 a day or more if i'm lucky or determined. I have heard now from several ppl that you can do it 3 times a day and not twice a day...
