Thread: Apps are not automatically organized in Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7

I always us the app called the AppZorter in my Samsung Galaxy S2 phone which helps me in sorting the apps in a perfect alphabetical order. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is having the problem of not arranging the apps in a proper way. I am not much familiar with the Tab 7.7 so I would not be able to tell you in much detail. I think there would also be a app availability to solve this problem.

I do think that there is some kind of the error related to the custom overlay of the Samsung that is Touchwiz UX. The apps are not arranged in a proper manner as it were arranged in the earlier tablet. The apps are also not sorted automatically and if we try to remove all the apps form the page then also it shows the appearance of the blank page.

This is a major issue that the apps are not arranged in and organized automatically in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. One of my friends who purchased the Tab 7.7 was having this problem and to avoid this he has performed the updated of the firmware with the help of KIES. After doing this the custom overlay has been improved a little but he hasn’t still solved the automatically sorting of the apps problem.

The Tablet version of the 10.1 and the 8.9 were auto arranging the apps. When I was accessing the Tablet then once I was able to see the blank page but then after the reboot I was able to clear that thing.

I have too noticed that the Tab version of the 7.7 is not having the auto arranging option and this has disappointed many of the Tab users of the Samsung who are using the version 7.7. As you are saying that the apps are arranged in the way they are install then this is not always correct because when I have installed the other apps then many of the original apps got mixed with the apps that I have installed.

Because of this problem I have moved towards the GO Launcher Ex. In this I am getting the option to arrange the apps in the way I can. I can arrange them alphabetically. Also I can keep the apps which are installed first on the top and auto arranging is also possible.

If you are able to clean the data of the app called as the TWLauncher then you might be able to auto arrange the apps. This is the only way that you can do the auto arrangement of the apps on the Tab 7.7. I am sorry to say that you will have to lose the way you have arranged the apps in the widget. Thank You.

I always make the specific folders and move the apps in those folders. This avoids from the mess of the apps all around. All I have to do is that go to the folder I want to go and then go to the specific app.

There were many reasons and the auto arrangement of the apps was the main reason why I have moved to the ADW launcher. I was not expecting this from the Samsung in the Honeycomb OS but I hope that Samsung will make some kind of the improvement in the TW when it will come up with the Ice-cream Sandwich OS. Hope so…
